Ruth 2

The Story
Ruth went into a field and began to glean. She was allowed to do so because of God's command in the past (Lev. 19:9-10, Deut. 24:19-22).
She went into a field owned by Boaz, with whom she later married and had children.

Lessons

• Our present standing in Jesus was made possible because we were chosen and elected by God in the past (Eph. 1:4-6).
• Nothing happens by accident! God moves powerfully and providentially to bring about His will in our life.
