God Is By Our Side

Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.
- Genesis 28:16 -

Jacob had learned it.

His father Isaac had blessed him and told him to find a wife from among his mother’s family (Genesis 28:1-4). He followed that directive and traveled toward Haran.

As Jacob slept, the Lord came to him in a dream and said, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” (Genesis 28:15).

When Jacob awoke, he knew that he had heard from God. He said, “Surely the Lord is in this place” (Genesis 28:16).

Confident of God’s presence, Jacob committed himself to following Him with his life (Genesis 28: 20-21).

We can also take comfort in the truth that God is with us.

Let us follow God with our lives.

Bear Much Fruit

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit.
- John 15:8 -

As Christians, we put our faith in Christ.
We live our lives to God, in a way that is pleasing to Him.
We sow and bear much fruit.
Often, we don’t realize it.
Often, it comes when we least expect it.
But it comes, and means so very much to us.

As Christians, we change life.
Our own life is changed, so are the lives of others.
We don’t know how, but they happened,
And great joy fills our hearts.

As Christians, we bear fruit all our lives.
Each of us have a story to tell.
It is a story of grace and truth and love...
That God the Father loves us,
And send His Son to die on the Cross for us.

As Christians, we live to please God,
And we bear much fruit.
We don’t know when the Lord will call us Home.
But we live faithfully to God every day.
A fruitful harvest always requires a faithful life.

The Word of God

It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
 - Matthew 4:4 -

Nothing can compare to the Bible.

It is the Word of God.

It is our guide in all matters of life.

We must be grateful of the Bible.

In it we learn of God and find guidance and direction for our lives.

Let us love God’s Word, and eagerly dig into its pages.

The Bible is like a lighthouse; with it, we are going in the right direction.
