1. A marriage relationship with Boaz would provide Ruth with the security and peace she needed.
2. Ruth needed a Savior badly.

Lessons

• A personal relationship with the LORD Jesus Christ will give us eternal rest.
• Humanity desperately needs the Savior because of their condition (Rom 3:23, Eph 2:1-3) and their condemnation (Rom 6:23, John 3:18,36)
